Opening of the 2025-2026 17th BMS Concert Season
Music Salon
Welcome to the 17th concert season of the Bulgarian Music Society Concert Series. Our annual Music Salon will feature prizewinning young musicians from the United States, China, Spain, and Malaysia performing an array of solo, vocal, and chamber music works. The program will include compositions by Schumann, Faure, Rachmaninov, Ravel, Ysaye, and other composers. This is a co-presentation by the International Art Development and Promotion Association and the Bulgarian Music Society.

Young Musical Stars Showcase
A concert featuring some of the most talented young musicians in the Washington DC area who are prizewinners of international, national, and regional music competitions. The program will include works by Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Lalo, Moszkowski, Shostakovich, and other composers. This is a co-presentation by the Bulgarian Music Society and the American Masters Music Awards organization (www.ammusicawards.com).

Julia Angelov, Violin and Christopher Schmitt, Piano
The Bulgarian Music Society is delighted to welcome back the award-winning violin virtuoso Julia Angelov. Join us for an evening filled with fire, beauty, passion, and poetry. Julia has appeared at venues such as John F. Kennedy Center, Merkin Concert Hall, Beethoven Hall of the Bolshoi Theater, Prokofiev Hall of Mariinsky Theater. She has been awarded the Milka Violin Prize at the Pablo Casals Festival Prades, the Verao Classico Award, and has taken part in the Kronberg Academy Masterclasses, IMS Prussia Cove, Carl Flesch Akademie Baden-Baden, and Heifetz International Music Institute.
The program will include master works by Mozart, Schubert, Ysaye, and Saint Saens.

Don't miss this rare opportunity to experience these timeless works in an intimate and captivating setting. This is a co-presentation of the Bulgarian Music Society in Washington DC and the Bulgarian Concert Evenings in New York City.

The program will include works by Chopin, Schumann, and Rachmaninov. This recital is a co-presentation by theLancaster International Piano Competition and the Bulgarian Music Society.
