Music Theater Showcase: The Music of Marvin Hamlisch

Back by popular demand!  After their spectacular showcase in February 2012, the students of the Music Theater Division of the Catholic University of America Benjamin T. Rome School of Music, one of the top three Music Theater programs in the U.S., are coming back to present a showcase featuring Broadway hits by Marvin Hamlisch. Ralitza Patcheva – Solo Piano Recital

This recital is a co-presentation of the Bulgarian Music Society and the Washington International Piano Series at the Catholic University of America (http://music.cua.edu). Internationally acclaimed pianist and prizewinner of the Buzoni International Piano Competition Ralitza Patcheva will present a program of works by Liszt and Brahms. Dr. Patcheva, Associate Artistic Director of the Bulgarian Music Society and CUA piano faculty, will perform on the new magnificent 9-ft Steinway concert grant in Ward Concert Hall of the Catholic University of America.
